Here are the steps which you need to do:

Enlist your name to have access and log in with the account you have just made.
Tick the box which has the “Keyword Universe” on the control panel.
Type in the keyword that you want to research on.
Finally, tick the “Proceed” box.

The entire keyword phrase that is associated to the word you are searching for will be collated by Wordtracker from Google.  After you have assessed the words, you can now put them in your “basket”.

On the left side of your screen, you will see the results table.  From there you can produce a new listing of keyword phrases that have been produced from your first search that you did.  This can be done as many times as you need to.  The duplicate phrases that are now in your basket will be sorted by Wordtracker.  The link at the bottom of the page that says “Tick here for step 3″ can be chosen if you are already pleased with the amount of phrases you got.

When you are done with that, you will be led to a page that contains all the listing of phrases in descending order.  You must bear in mind, though, that this is the initial pace as we have to analyze the rivalry of each term.  It is likely that a not too popular phrase that has less rivalry is a good choice for a starting business.

Now you are ready to tick the “Competition Search” box.   It is your option to select the search engine to use in assessing your keyword phrase.  It is, nonetheless, wise to make use of the very popular Google as your search engine.  You then tick the button that say “Proceed”.  The next screen will show you the statistics of the rivalry.

A column tagged as “KEI Analysis” for which the calculated number was divided from:

the frequency appearance of the researched phrase in the database of Wordtracker for the past 160 days, and
the quantity of web pages that are in existent.

For us, it is healthier if the KEI Analysis number is higher.

I encourage you to avail of the 7-day trial period.  You can finish your research even before you reach the final day of the trial period.  Listing down a small number of niche markets before enlisting your name will give you a better understanding and to accomplish the research period as has been described in the first few paragraph.

Using the best days of the week to finishing your research will allow you to gather an unbelievable quantity of important data which can be used for your business’ success.
